The plan for today was to “research” the films The Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Summertime, and You’ve Got Mail. I’ve been asked to do a story where a specific part of that familiar story changes, to see what effect that would have on the outcome of the rest of it.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, that’s probably not going to happen today.

Still, when life gets you down, there are always a few good Garland songs to help bring you back up, and while the title might not sound that optimistic, this one helps me.

Kabobbles Sing Along is just what I think when I hear songs. I sometimes see images when I hear lyrics, pictures or movies in my head. Sometimes I relate it to stories. My interpretation of the songs and lyrics are probably nothing like their original intent.
