This would be my theme song.
Why?
I don’t have songs, true. No one has taken one and changed it.
On the other hand, I’d say that having a brain ‘picked like a chicken bone‘ and being half-insane (or more, really) rather fits me well.
Then we could add in the fact that part of it is in French, a language I’ve loved since I was little and studied almost enough to be semi-fluent in.
Or we could go with the part that says, “if the people are buying tears, I’ll be rich some day.”
Sometimes it really feels that way. And sometimes the stories I write are full of pain, for me or for the characters. So maybe someone is buying tears in that sense.
But that brings me back to the main reason that this is my theme song:
I wish I could find a good book to live in, wish I could find a good book. Well, if I could find a real good book, I’d never have to come out.
I’m a writer. I always have some kind of story going in my head. I spend more time in some kind of book than I do anything else. I’m searching for that good book to live in for good, I guess, but I have already spent some great times in the ones I’ve visited so far.
Kabobbles Sing Along is just what I think when I hear songs. I sometimes see images when I hear lyrics, pictures or movies in my head. Sometimes I relate it to stories. My interpretation of the songs and lyrics are probably nothing like their original intent.
