I had noticed a trend towards songs about breakups lately, but this one I find a bit different. Not that it isn’t a breakup song, it is.

The reason it seems so compelling to me is the chorus: “I’ve got your memory… or has it got me?”

This draws me back to The Monster in My Garden Shed and some of the concepts there, mostly regarding memory loss and relating a lot to how Renatta is/feels at the beginning of the story, not because of a breakup but because of memories.

Kabobbles Sing Along is just what I think when I hear songs. I sometimes see images when I hear lyrics, pictures or movies in my head. Sometimes I relate it to stories. My interpretation of the songs and lyrics are probably nothing like their original intent.
